Use of Service

• Keep your account credentials confidential.
• Do not misuse content or attempt unauthorized access.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including copyright and anti-spam laws.
• Respect other learners and instructors; no harassment, hate speech, or plagiarism.

Accounts and Security

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your region) to create an account.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Payments and Refunds

Course fees are shown in USD. If a course is not as described, contact support within 14 days for options.

• Payments are processed at checkout; taxes may apply based on your billing location.
• Promotions and discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
• Chargebacks for valid services may lead to account suspension.
• Refunds, where applicable, are returned to the original payment method.

Course Access

Access is for individual learners unless a team plan is purchased.

• Personal, non-transferable license to view course materials for your own learning.
• Downloadable resources (if provided) are for your personal use only.
• We may add, modify, or retire content to keep the curriculum current.
• Certificates of completion may be offered but are not guaranteed for every course.

Acceptable Use

• No scraping, bulk downloading, or reverse engineering of the platform.
• No sharing, selling, or sublicensing course access or materials.
• No uploading malware, harmful code, or attempting to bypass security.

Intellectual Property

• All site and course content is owned by Cliffside Speaking Academy or its licensors.
• Reproduction, distribution, or public performance requires prior written consent.

User Content

• You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., assignments, posts, feedback).
• You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display your submitted content in connection with the service.
• Do not submit content that infringes others’ rights or violates the law.

Termination

• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for fraudulent activity.
• Upon termination, your license to use the service ends; certain obligations (e.g., payment, IP, dispute terms) survive.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Courses are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.
• In no event will our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid in the 6 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law and Disputes

• These terms are governed by applicable laws of your place of residence unless local law requires otherwise.
• Before filing a claim, contact us for an attempt at amicable resolution.
